Title FORSA Chaco-BOL: Strengthening the Health Services Network of the Gran Chaco region of Tarija, Bolivia, as a model for the comprehensive management of cardiovascular disease and prevalent and neglected diseases

The intervention strategy selected for the FORSA Chaco-Bol project focuses on establishing a comprehensive management model for cardiovascular disease, including Chagas disease, in the Gran Chaco region, as well as developing and generating knowledge. It also proposes strengthening the evaluation of the impact of non-governmental programs, both in the Gran Chaco and in other areas, through the development and piloting of a monitoring and evaluation (M+E) tool.
Objectives:
GO I. To strengthen the Health Services Network (HSN) of the Gran Chaco region of Tarija as a comprehensive management model for cardiovascular disease and prevalent and neglected diseases, in order to reduce their impact on public health.
GO II. To strengthen the monitoring and evaluation (M+E) of neglected diseases to support the health system and obtain up-to-date information on public health needs.
The project is financed by AEXCID and AECID (the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation).
