“It was the best of times; It was the worst of times”.
Charles Dickens
We started the key decade to end the neglect. On March 23rd, 2021, a great gathering of  main stakeholders of the Chagas disease community shared their views, analysis and commitments to maintaining the “Momentum” for the disease in the context of COVID-19 and beyond. This event, co-hosted by Chagas Coalition and the World Heart Federation (member of the Coalition), with the support of the NTD department of WHO, was the first global meeting this year 2021 to measure the effects and progress on Chagas disease from different contexts and perspectives.

Representatives of ministries of health, policymakers, institutions and organizations, WHO partners, associations of people affected by Chagas disease evaluated the impact of the pandemics in its daily work but also they share their contributions to scale up the progress towards the elimination of the disease as a public health problem in 2030, following the SDGs and the new WHO NTD roadmap.

We think that it is worthy to share the full recorded event as well as the individual presentations and speeches of the speakers for easy and direct access to them.
