Interview with Isabel Farell, President of PINTRE

Isabel Farell is the founder and president of PINTRE Onlus (also known as ‘Associazione Percorsi Intrecciati’). Founded in 2017 in the city of Turin, Italy, this association focuses on supporting the Bolivian and Latin American migrant community, with a special emphasis on the integration and well-being of children and adolescents, as well as ensuring this population’s access to healthcare in Europe.
The organization is an active member of the Italian Network on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs Italy) and the international federation FINDECHAGAS. Through these platforms, Isabel Farell promotes early diagnosis campaigns, scientific seminars, and social awareness activities that have positioned PINTRE as a key benchmark in the fight against Chagas and other neglected tropical diseases in Italy.
