Advancing neglected diseases drug discovery in endemic areas
DNDi and UNICAMP organize in October this event to share knowledge about medicines created for infectious diseases and future challenges on this regard.

In 2023, DNDi celebrates its 20th anniversary and also the 10th anniversary of the Lead Optimization Latin American (LOLA) consortium, the first early-stage drug discovery program launched by DNDi in Latin America, in collaboration with the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and the University of São Paulo (USP).
On October 19th and 20th, an event called “Advancing neglected diseases drug discovery in endemic areas”, organized by DNDi and UNICAMP, will take place at the UNICAMP campus, Campinas, Brazil (with online streaming available).
In this symposium, an international group of experts from academia, research institutes, and pharmaceutical companies, as well as other key stakeholders will share knowledge and success stories in drug discovery for infectious diseases, and discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with the development of strategic medicines in endemic areas.
