6th International Congress of Triatominae and Trypanosoma cruzi Vectors

The conferente will take place in Yucatán, Mexico, and it is expected to bring new agreements in order to improve the comprehensive care of patients with Chagas.

The “6º Congreso Internacional de Vectores Triatominae y de Trypanosoma cruzi”, is to be held on October 24-28, 2022, in the city of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. It is due to be an in-person meeting, hosted in the UADY “central” building  (Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán).
It aims to promote the rapprochement of the academia involved in research on all aspects of Chagas disease, the Health Services and organizations involved in the fight against its transmission and patient care, as well as civil society, including people affected by the disease.
It is expected that, during this event, firm agreements will be reached with the aim of improving the comprehensive care of patients with Chagas disease in Mexico.
The event is organized by the Asociación Chagas con Ciencia y Conocimiento (ACCyC), the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán (UADY) and the French Research Institute for Sustainable Development (IRD).
